Ang kurso ay nauukol sa pag-aaral sa proseso ng pagbasa at pagsusuri ng iba't ibang anyo at uri ng teksto na nakatutulong sa pagbuo at pagsulat ng sistematikong pananaliksik.  

This course uses insights from Anthropology, Political Science, and Sociology to develop students' awareness of cultural, social and political dynamics, and sensitivity to cultural diversity; provide them with an understanding of how culture, human agency, society and politics work; and engage them in the examination of the country's current human development goals.

The course covers various contemporary arts practices of the region where the school is located.  It aims to provide the students with an appreciation of a broad range of styles in the various disciplines with consideration on their elements and principles and engage with an integrative approach in studying arts. Through this subject, students will acquire the necessary creative tools that open opportunities in pursuing their individual career goals and aspirations aligned to contemporary arts.

This course actively engages learners in honing their listening and speaking skills and in developing strategies for effective communication in various situations.

This course examines personal development by exploring a wide variety of ways in which to change, grow, and achieve one’s creative potential.  The focus is on the discovery of self and the authentic search for meaning in one’s own life. The class advances a multi-faceted approach to personal development combining theory, personal experience, and self-reflection

The course allows the learners to revisit the processes of reading and writing as modes of meaning making and language acquisition.  It provides opportunities for learners to develop their reading and writing skills as applied to a wide range of materials other than fictional texts.
